Project Management and Major Infrastructure SchemesWe have experience of handling all aspects of major schemes from inception to conclusion including:
Planning Policy We can provide advice on and have drafted planning policy for Public Sector clients. We have advised on the effect of planning policy on development proposals and how this translates to planning conditions within permissions. Compulsory Purchase and Compensation We can assist with the making and defending of Compulsory Purchase Orders and also advise on compensation issues which may arise. Infrastructure Agreements (Planning and Highways) We have experience of dealing with a varying complexity of Planning agreements (Section 106 Agreements) and Highways agreements (Section 38/278 Agreements) for local authority clients, from smaller residential developments to large mixed use developments. Within Section 106 Agreements we have dealt with all aspects of planning obligations to mitigate the effects of development including Affordable Housing, Highways Works, Open Space, Management Companies and Leisure Services. For some local authority clients we exclusively handle their portfolio of Planning Agreements. Development Control and Enforcement We can provide advice to assist with the streamlining of the development control processes and speed up decision making, taking into account all aspects of best practice. We can also provide assistance with Development Control decision making on specific applications, enforcement issues, statutory orders and subsequent appeals.
