Sophie, a practising lawyer who also used to be a part-time University lecturer, is a Consultant in our Education Team. Sophie adds an invaluable knowledge of the sector gained from her local government experience.
Sophie adds extensive experience within the Education field in areas of:-
- Exclusions;
- Prosecution of non attendance at school;
- Special educational needs;
- Discrimination;
- Negligence (preliminary advice);
- Banning individuals from school premises;
- Disclosure including Public Interest Immunity;
- Child protection issues;
- Parental rights to educate children at home;
- Special projects; and
- Trust schools.
