Clive specialises in all aspects of employment law. He has a particular expertise in advising on issues concerning the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations ( "TUPE "), issues concerning the use of temporary workers supplied by employment agencies (including employment status issues), and the employment issues arising from buying and selling businesses.

Clive has also advised on a number of large, and complex tribunal claims, including discrimination claims and TUPE claims.

As well as advising employers, Clive often advises senior executives on employment law related matters.

Clive is recognised in the Chambers directory as a leader in his field and which states he "sets an admirable standard for his team to follow".

Clive is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
