Collaborative law has many of the advantages of mediation whilst at the same time including constant support from the collaborative lawyers.

At the outset of the collaborative process both individuals sign an agreement with collaborative lawyers.  If agreement is not reached, neither individual can use his or her existing lawyer in court proceedings.

As a result, the "threat" of court proceedings is removed and all negotiations take place openly in a series of face to face meetings with individuals and their lawyers present.

The process is ideally suited to cases involving Children and is faster and more family focused than other more traditional ways of resolving matters.

We have an established collaborative law practice and have a choice of collaboratively trained lawyers including Huw Miles (the Head of Department), Frank Prior and Rachel Osgood, any of who would be happy to discuss your individual requirements with you at any time.
